I help families with estate planning because I have witnessed firsthand from 15 years in this area of law how good planning helps families and how no planning or poor planning can cause families to self-destruct, waste resources, or both when the death or disability of a loved one occurs.

Personally, I have an estate plan to take care of my family to the fullest in the event something happens to me.  I am grateful that my father made an estate plan before he died because it made it much easier on my family and saved us time and money.

I have dedicated my practice to building a toolbox to help Minnesotans ensure that:

  1. Their planning goals are met, and a structure is established.
  2. Risks and expenses are minimized.
  3. Peace of mind is achieved.

In working with clients, my goal is to listen closely and communicate clearly and offer them the best estate planning options available for them, explained in clear English.  I will collaborate and work with other financial advisors because the team approach is often most valuable.  We then work together to create a tailored estate plan that suits their needs, values, and desires so that a valid legal document or entity is memorialized and family harmony is protected.

Lastly, I follow up with clients over time because I understand that life changes and a plan that is outdated might not carry out their wishes.

I take great pride in helping Minnesotans create plans that best serve their families.
